DEMOLITION OF YANKEE STADIUM

It's a shame THE STADIUM couldn't be renovated back to what it was before the 1973 renovation. I guess that history (see Ebbets Field and Polo Grounds) didn't mean anything to the powers that be. Fenway Park and Wrigley Field endure. But The Baseball Shrine in The Bronx get destroyed. Then we get a replica on the other side of 161st ST. It just goes to show you what the power of money can do. Hence, the exorbitant ticket prices across the street.
